3 Questions : Inge
3 Questions is an interview-style series featuring some of my favorite bloggers. Every week, I ask one inspirational person 3 completely random questions and ask them to share three photos that represent Who they are, What they do or make and Where they feel the happiest.
Inge is an independent designer with a sincere passion for sustainable fashion. (Excuse the rhyming!) Her whole process is very organic, both literally and creatively. She uses the most eco-friendly materials she can source and her designs hit that sweet spot of being simple but lasting and timeless. She is a big believer in quality-over-quantity and part of the new slow-fashion movement, which encourages us to look at the seams of our wardrobe to see how our clothing was made, by who and under what circumstances. I always love visiting her blog for the clean, refreshing imagery of the things that inspire her, her travels, helpful and encouraging green fashion tips and, of course, her beautiful creations.
What are your favorite TV shows?
I love TV shows! It all started with Buffy the Vampire Slayer back in the day and I’ve watched many great ones after that, including Lost and Breaking Bad. I’m always drawn to shows with a little bit of mystery and magic in them, so more recently we’ve been watching Grimm, True Blood and Castle. We like to alternate those with a little humor and love Parks and Recreation, Community and New Girl. I also love Downton Abbey and am a big fan of Game of Thrones. I’ve read the books so I know what’s going to happen, but it’s still so good!
If you were in a rock band, which instrument would you play and why?
I’d play the violin. I don’t know how to play the violin, but I love it when it gets used in (rock) music, like Seabear does so perfectly well. That’s not really a rock band maybe, but a violin would be equally awesome in real rock music!
Is it easier for you to give help or receive help?
Definitely to give help. I’m a hopeless perfectionist and like to have everything under control, so helping me is not really a great experience for anyone! Although at the end of the day, I do really appreciate help.
